best fking episode

Darn, I never expected to see 31 comments when I open gogo. It normally hovers below 10.

For me, PW is my top right now since Fanren is on hiatus and that is MY personal opinion only. BTTH is fine but I agree with what @Enve Me said, the fight scenes are better in PW at the moment. Tournament matches can be a little draggy if it features too many side characters.

Back to PW, as a fan of the novel, let me just give a basic summary of what’s going on. SH is always looking for ways to up his power and ability so that he can better protect his kingdom and the ppl his cares for. One of the easiest ways for him is to go through the Void God Realm where only his spiritual body goes there and he won’t die even if he’s killed.

As many of you have guessed, the path that SH is currently on is the transitory path between Void God Realm and the upper realm. In VGR, SH started breaking records again to get the last 2 pieces of the Bronze Divine Records where he already has 8 pieces. It was the two old swindlers who told him to go to that heavenly path in order to get his remaining pieces.

So that’s why he’s there right now. Of course, most ppl he encounters there are just snobbish, selfish and greedy, which emphasises the theme of the novel: human nature is ugly, for most ppl power and authority is everything.

Best donghua running so far.

Bai Lian Cheng Shen is still new but one of the most anticipated new shows Big Brother is another that is new and is impressive so far....... San Ti is another but not a cultivation show like these but I think it has the most realistic animation so far specially peoples faces...... I think this and BTTH has the best fight scenes...... cant think of another show that displays huge attacks as well as this one does..... its like you can really feel the power..... makes goku's spirit bomb look like premature ejacu....... well you know

I am watching BTTH. It's one of my top listed. There's something about perfect world that's just different with the other culti Donghuas. Shi Hao to me is well blended and unlike the other donghuas I've watched where the MC's power fluctuates so much Shi Hao has just been at a constant rise. The Sub is good. The storyline, I can follow lol. His composure is more mature. It's like you can tell that he has a mission.

yup i agree and this show is like the only one youll find with exotic characters like the birds, tree guy , a mountain and pagoda that kick ass with crazy attacks.... there really isnt another show like it.... but haters gonna hate and band wagoner's gonna follow

i agree the only think that was bad was the subs in the beginning.... around where he met the lion with alot of heads.. they were really bad so it was confusing..... i been watching since day one..... by now they are probably fixed to a better version.......then when he fought his cousin with the dual pupil the show was epic with the fights to where people in the comments were like we need a breather episode..... been saying it since....no other show displays gigantic attack sequences like this one

Doupo Canqiong and Throne of Seal are better. I'd say this is 3rd or 4th among the currently airing Donghua. I even enjoy Swallowed Star more than this. Soul Land became boring so i'll rate that 5th or 6th. Shixiong a Shixiong looks more fun than this as well.

idk guess it really comes down to how you rate your shows.... by fights this got most beat only BTTH can fck with this..... show me a fight in any other show and i can show a bigger and better one from this....and constantly .... not a big fight every few weeks.... almost every ep there is fighting in this and not small squabbles but epic sized bring the sky down on yeah head fights..... Doulo could if they didn't interrupt their fight scenes...but BTTH now that its weekly isnt doing better fights then this and they are doing a fight torny right now..fact...the only fight that came close was his first fight against dude that went bald and that was like 3-4 weeks ago hopefully the next fight this sunday will be on par with these.. and BTTH is my number 1 rn.... for all around production

Already watching that. Do you call American animations anime? Anything no one else has as their top donghua that could surprise me? Douluo Dalu is epic so far. Journey to becoming an immortal and all the others on people’s top lists I’ve watched except the non CGIs. Maybe you got a good non CGI?

yeah dont rule out the 5min shows they arent bad....well most aint..... you can find them on YT strung together in videos a few hour long

they are considered anime by the definition but americans call them cartoons..... anime "short for animation" = anything animated...... however when most people use the short term they are talking about Japanese animation

If you think this is the best, you definitely lack taste in anime. this is in the top 5/10 but definitely not the best

First of all I did not say anime, I said Donghua. In my opinion I think it's the best out there. I've only recently started watching. If I had to rate this, it would get a 10 out of 10 for me. The storyline is easy to follow, the graphics are amazing, the length per episode is good. I am watching other Donghua though. If you have something better with all those episodes let me know.

Honestly, they all are animes, No matter what title they give them. Anyways, Doupo Cangqiong is definitely in the top 3. That's the only one i'll recommend for now. Enjoy

Anime is Japanese, Donghua is Chinese. Don't try the "tHeY bOtH mEaN aNiMaTiOn" argument, either. Anime has become a specific term after many decades of setting a precedent, and to be anime it has to be made by Japanese studios. These are not made in Japan, or by Japanese studios. You don't have to use the right term, nobody will force you, but it doesn't change the fact that you're categorically wrong.

Also, this show is amazing. If you don't think it's top, then that's just your opinion. Opinion is subjective to each person, and frankly I disagree with yours. However, that is also just my opinion.

to many this is the best....... to you it may not be......doesnt mean they lack taste in anime.... who the fck are you to judge.....god the nerve of some people and their weird regard to how their single minded opinions mean fact.......it may be in your top 5 but it wouldnt even rank for people that aint into action and love dramas or mysteries now would it????

you need Dase....maybe go back a ep or so and see if there is anyone whos comment you cant see.... sign out of discord and you can see it..... Dase usually provides good narratives for this show...... they way i caught it was he just got retribution and started back the sect that was destroyed long ago when he was still in preteen form.... i believe this was his final goal in the lower realm...... and it seems like he discover a back door ( where he is now) to the upper realm through this special realm where he set all the records when he was young.... forgot the name of the special realm though but its not the same realm where his kingdom is...... i dont read the novels so im not as versed in all the aspects like others are
